DutchKiwiCowboy2
Another member asked in a different arena whether the test tubes have to be held against the white surface of the card or in front of it. There is normally a difference in the colour you see (darker when in contact) this could have an influence on your actions if you don't know. I thought I would put it into the mix and see what others think.
Caryl
I always held it against the white bit.
Hoody
White bit make's sense to me. Other wise you'll be changing the colour your ment to be comparing against?
Adrienne
I hold mine over the colour strips and the one I can't see a different colour when I look through the test tube is the reading I take.
DutchKiwiCowboy2
I think what the other member was meaning is whether to actually make contact with the comparisson chart or not, if there is a drop of water in between the colour gets darker than if you hold it away from it. * [ ] l *********************** [ ] l * [] l *********************** []0l * [] l *********************** []0l * [] l *********************** []0l [] teat tube l Colour chart 0 Water drop (can't get everything lined up quite right)
Blackadder
Hold it against the white background of the color chart. You want water in the test tube only, you don't want water on the outside of the test tube or on the color chart.
