Caryl
I know some people get the black polythene (from farm supply stores) that farmers use for their dams.
fishandchips
You can use it but go for the thicker stuff. you can get 125 micron and 250 micron stuff from most hardwear stores. we have got a 1.5arce pond made from the stuff and had no problems with it at all. spangela
Hi thanks, i talked to a guy from a hardware store he reckons that there is a thick polythene that they can order in. I have have 2 1000L ponds that i am puting orandas in. There is no issue with any toxins from the polythene leaching out into the water?? John Rimbauer
The last couple of ponds I've done, I used 250 micron black polythene from a plumbing place. I've not had any problems with leaching, and it's pretty tough too.
