Ninja turtle
I have decide to get a canister filter for our turtle tank and maybe get one for the goldfish tank. Which one are the best brand? Aqua one or Fluval? What do you look at when buying a canister filter? Thanks
sub.z
I have never owned one before until last week, i brought it second hand off a neighbour. The one i got was a Fluval 205. Works well and isnt too loud, just what i wanted
Fishy_Lips
I like the Aqua one models due to filter capacity verses price, although the fluvals have a good valve unlock system.
Wok
Comes down to personal preference once you compare the technical specs on what you want. Price plays a part too.

Afrikan
I'm still a Jebo 819 fanboy myself We have had 2 of these pack up lately... I won't be buying another one... Aqua Ones and Fluvals and the Eheim still running strong.. Personally I think if you have a little more money to spare then purchase one of the other three.. Caryl
I will be interested to see how my Jebos last compared to my Fluvals as I prefer the Jebo performance and they are quieter. A lot easier to do maintenance on them and get them restarted too. Mine have been running just over 12 months now so not very long.
herefishiefishie
I had problems with a jebo 819, then a seal went as well, its gone. I have a fluval 405 touch wood, never had a problem. Frenchy
