sick peacock

Featured Replies

today i found out my male peacock has a lump / swell on the right side, behind the pectoral fins. Have no idea whats wrong and what to do with it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks :o

hi

It might be an ulcer or a tumour. I had a XL Julidachromis with a tumour around the gill area. It lived happily for about a year till the tumour just got too big so I had no choice but to put him down.

If your peacock is eating and doesnt seem stressed then its up to you if you want to keep him alive.

Ta mike :-?
