what is the correct way of sexing a snake neck ?

just check the plastron, male are slightly concave and have a sharper V cut out just before the tail. female has flat or slight pump and a more U shape cut out. do i make sense?

and no, both sex are the same thats why it so hard.

this is the rule:

if the plastron is concave or it has a sharp V cut out than its a male.

if it has a pump plastron and a U cut out than its a female

but if it has a flat plastron and a U cut than it can be either but most probably a female.

notoriously difficult and the only real way is if you catch one laying eggs its a girl.Often if you stick them in a different tank and watch them a male will often stick his wiggly bit out(ugly looking black thing)then you know you have a boy.
