Brianemone
Have rung around a few shops here in hamilton and I haven't managed to find a shop that stocks it. Any suggestions?

Matt
I had the same problem in Auckland, I managed to find it in Palmers. The Warehouse apparently sells it as well but they never had it in stock whenever I tried.
meesheelly
Bunnings or Mitre 10 mega?
SpidersWeb
I got mine at Mitre 10 Mega, only had about 4 bags of it. Bunnings didn't have it in stock, and neither did the smaller Mitre 10's. It's $9.95 for 10kg and it is doing absolute wonders for my planted tank. I thoroughly recommend a substrate mix like Daltons for anyone considering a planted tank with moderate to heavy lighting. shelzie
Go to palmers, i got some about a month ago. it was areound $10. if you do go in there, go through to the gardens outside and its in a little shed in the back right corner, when i went in they had atleast 20 bags. fishboi
y is this type of gravel good? Daltons is the brand and i am pretty sure Brianemone is after the aquatic mix so its not a gravel but a sandy clay mix. good for growing plants. they do however do propagating sand which IMO is a good substrate.
