Alan
I have a pair of Uarus with free swimming babies as of today. About time. I saw some babies back in'88 and thought, "Yep, I'd like to breed them one day!" Got't'm, nearly 20 years in the making tho. Lotta dollars to with the various attempts. Billaney
Do you have any pictures of them Alan ?
Alan
No Paul, and I won't be even attempting to take one. With my skill, it would prolly be a failure, and I also don't want to light up their area while the babies are so young. The top of their tank is covered with the indian fern that they decided wasn't food and duckweed, so with only two 2' fluros the tank is nice and secure for them as far as lighting goes. I have just come in from feeding the parents some shrimp, and I saw the babies on the flanks of one of the parents, in a similar fashion to discus fry. The babies are also taking BBS and pick all day over the substrate.
