Aaron-Betta
I know the pic is crappy from the webcam but can anyone identify this killi? I got it from Jansens Lincoln rd as as Golden Australe girl, but is it? I will try to wip around to get the digi-cam and get a clearer pic. It has clear yellow fins with red dots on its dorsal and at the end of the anal fin. It has a rather clear/ pink body.
alanmin4304
Looks like it might be but realy tricky to tell some females from each other. Easier when you have others to compare with.
Wok
I have had a look but I think, whoever supplied Jansens, Henderson with the Killie might know what they sent to them, we should be able to narrow it down from there Seemed to me to be possibly a Gold australe female, but not 100% sure. 100% sure it is a female of some form though

Aaron-Betta
have put the two i got off you and kept the larger one seperate like you suggested wok, is it ok to breed the large female with the small male?
Alan
Aaron, normally we have one male to two females, this is termed a trio for obvious reasons. Why we do this is because the male can share his amorous desires with the two, thereby taking the strain from a single, that could get injured, killed, or even forced to escape from the tank if it's not covered completely. Goodluck with breeding them, I'm sure Wok will have explained what you need to know about that fun time of the hobby.
carla
When we got our first goat we were told that when you talk about goats its always about sex. Looks like it is the same here
