ocean4freedom
Hi folks, Just came across this and wondering if this info is correct: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Home-living/Pe ... 309711.htm It is only needed to add fresh water or change water twice a year, very good recycle water system, keep the tank always clear, very good condition Best of my knowledge we need to do water changes every week or so to remove wastes, etc and this advert is saying a few times a YEAR?! Any thoughts? antwan
That's why the tank looks crap. I say a water change at least every couple of weeks on a community tank would be required.
Blackadder
It is if you want a tank as sad looking as that one No wonder the waters yellow.
Caryl
Not necessarily. I only do water changes on my tank about once every 3 months (if that) but it looks better than the one pictured I must say Check it out in the freshwater tank section

Good growth in the plants makes a huge difference.
jude
Caryl's fish don't poop much either because she doesn't feed them often. Poor little things keep coming to the glass, holding out their bowls, and saying "Please Sir, I want some more."
