Insect Direct Posted December 9, 2006 Report Share Posted December 9, 2006 Ive got what appears to be a large duckweed and I cant seem to find it on the net so if anyone knows what it is / what its called etc would be great!! Insect Direct Posted December 9, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 9, 2006 Its kinda got a different texture (sorta rigid) compared with the normal duckweed and also goes a reddish coulour in different situations, Its not that big but still abit bigger than standard duckweed altough it does shirink to about the same size if in unsuited conditions!! Insect Direct Posted December 11, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 11, 2006 Awesome thanks alot for that, I just searched azolla on the net and thats it alright!! very similair to duckweed its taken over a couple of baths which ive got fish in but thats all good ive been feeding the excess to my turtles and they seem to eat it so a good source of greens for them :lol: :bounce: Thanks again. .. .
