(now that I dont need them hah) Just thought I'd mention it so that nobody else tries the Drontal method un-necessarily.

ryanjury
I have some and im looking at the instructions right now... They are distributed by brooklands and have mebendazole and trichlorfon as the active ingrediants. I cant remember where I got them from some online site that ive lost now, the guy who sold them to me setup goldfish tanks in businesses etc cant even remember the companies name but he did have a site selling products really cheap. If someone knows what im talking about can they post the site because I want to try get more stuff off him
SpidersWeb
The product mentioned above (thanks Ryan) is what is back on the shelves at LFSs. I went back in and read the packaging. Its an 'Aquarium Products' product apparently, its in a red cardboard box, is distributed by Brooklands, and the main active ingredient is mebendazole. It is on the shelf right next to Furan2. I did some reading and apparently imports stopped because the company who actually produces the tabs only makes limited runs. burgo
Hi, Is there anywhere in Auckland I could get this stuff. I think some of my discus might have gill fluke??
sharn
the best defluker (and does tapeworm too!) for discus (IMO) is prazi- try and get some proper stuff (not drontal) if you can, its super gentle and mine continued to spawn during treatment  i beleive it is quite expensive but is well worth the investment i am not sure what discus would be like with mebendazole and trichlorfon though- perhaps a google will help on that?
