beachy
Hey all, bought some blackline flying fox today 8), doing a bit of research shows that there is a difference between flying fox and SAE, but the ones I bought look like SAE :-? Can any one tell me if blackline flying fox is just another name for SAE, and different from flying fox? Thanks

beachy
Thanks caryl, Great info, its a tough one, i think they may be SAE, mainly because they dont have any black markings in the fins. Its not a false, because its black line goes through the tail.

alanmin4304
I have been chasing algae for months. Finally got rid of the black beard then got an agressive "green beard". Put in four of those wee guys into a heavily plantd 300l tank and they have cleaned it up in a week. Great wee workers night and day, and peaceful with it. jude
A certain fish shop with branches round the country does sell SAE's but calls them flying foxes so you probably do have the right fish. Cheers Jude

jude
I don't think mine do. I've seen a few nibbled leaves but there's heaps of fish in the tank which might be the culprits. Its never been much damage. Cheers jude
