    Corys & Melafix

Thanks for the help Sorry couldn't reply last night, having trouble with my internet  It's my "quarantine" tank (10 gallon). I only have 3 corys in it and Puff my goldfish. Puff had lost most of his tail quite some time ago. When I placed him and the other 2 goldfish in a 29 gallon tank his tail started to grow back. I placed him in the 10 gallon because I found one of the other goldies what looked like "nipping" him. Yesterday, I noticed that he had what appeared like a film over his eyes. Anyway, long story short I'm treating the tank with Melafix as this was all I had. I did a large water change & Spiderweb I did add bubble wall. On the Melafix bottle it does say you can use it for "eye cloud". Caper
  10. Can melafix be used in a tank that has corys? Caper
  11. Tried to post a pic of rocks but too much trouble, getting disconnected   One is all "whitish" others have white on them, I don't have many or big rocks, will post pic when can. Nope, not club that I'm aware. But didn't you say white has lime, and vinegar reacts with it, I did put vinegar on them all and nothing happened??? Caper
  12. Was at the beach the other day with my grandson and I picked up a few rocks to try in my tank. There's nothing particular about the ones I took as I couldn't really take my time to look since my main reason was to be there with Brayden (we had lots of fun ). I didn't have much vinegar so was only able to add a couple of drops to each one and nothing happened, if you think I should get more vinegar to put on them I will? They are presently boiling. Since the beach is on the ocean would salt be an issue? Caper
