my filter does have carbon in it i might leave it to soak then chuck it in the tank tomorrow. cheers

hey i just purchased a piece of drift wood from the fish shop i put it to soak in hot water and the waters changed colour how long should i leave it in the water for before putting it in my tank i tried using the search thing for such a basic question but no luck. cheers

the glass on my tank is 8mm thick has anyone used there drills to drill 8mm without any problems?

hello i have a four foot tank with a three foot sump the four foot has no holes in it and i dont really want to get it drilled so what i was thinking is that could i get a pump like this: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Home-living/Pe ... 700007.htm and just pump water from the main tank into the sump and get another pump the same one( http://www.trademe.co.nz/Home-living/Pe ... 700007.htm ) to pump the water back from the sump into the main tank? would this work cheers

hey i got a chocolate catfish a few months ago but ive never seen it eat ive put sinking pellets in there everyonce and awhile. does any one no anything that i could put in the tank and it would eat apart from the sinking pellets? cheers

i use all the same stuff for all my tanks never had any problems if your really worried about bugs and such boil it at 126degres C and that will kill of anything living on there
