I don't think it's their teeth, cause dwarf puffers sneek up on snails and suck them out of the shells then they move on. My GSP on the other hand eats snails shell and everything inside.

I took some puffer fish carryon from Chch to Wgtn via jetstar or pacific blue (can't remember which one) and that was ok. They even went through the xray, I wasn't thinking when I put my bag on the conveyer.

Shrimp are also very sensitive to water conditions, being such a small tank chemical swings can be huge.

I noticed that there are many hidden talends on this board so I thought I would ask. The Mrs has found the house of her dreams, I like it too but.... there isn't internal access to the garage and the 3rd bedroom. I hate getting wet getting to a car. I was wondering how much would it cost to cut a hole in the floor and put in a stair case that is sort of square U shape(see diagram below)? I've heard that exclusive use of RO water can upset the isotonic balance of fish as RO water is very pure and has had all minerals, salts etc stripped out of it.

Worse that could happen is she takes half of your fishfood :lol: What about those little packets of silicon that they put into pills etc to keep dry?

They're also very hard to catch, if you consider putting one into your tank, consider it a permanent addition. Whatever you do, do not get a black and white striped damsel aka humbug damsel. Even more of a PITA, heaps of people get them because it was cheap or given to them, there is a reason for that.

Blue damsels are quite bossy, mine used to chase my clowns around in my 3 foot tank. He's gone now.
