    Hi all just wondering is it ok to feed my fish shrimp from the local creak (like across the road local) and home grown mosquito larve. there is no pollution in the stream to my knowledge and they are easy enough to catch. all help welcomed

    This is my first pregnent fish and i have no idea what to do. The lady int my lfs said she was anbout 3-4 weeks away. also how will i tell when she's about to give birth and should i get a breeding net as i only have one communtiy tank and i want to keep as many fry as possible to sell back to my lfs, any help appreciated. thanks

    I half agree, but come on i mean i got critisied at another forum before i found this one and it makes you feel pretty crap. But i also agree with doing reserch, but when all else fails why not call on people who no what theyre talking about. So i suppose that makes me the middle man!

    i heard that dragonfly larvae are rather good predetors in the wild and eat anything they can, tho i don't no about fish. diving beetles are preety hungrey too so watch out i'd say

    well it is a new tank, i've cut down on feeding and do regular water changes so hopefully is will go down. I'm using cycle when i do the water change.

    There's another one at 12 Amera Place, 371 Ti Rakau Drive, Botany that I haven't been to. i go there constantly and it's really good, but noting beats hollywood

    I've been told that less feeding and often water changes should help bring ammonia down, but is there any other way that i can bring it down, cos it's at 1.9-2
