Just starting up a new tank after being out of the hobby for a wee while, I'm after different plants for a community tanks, even just clippings that I can grow from. Am in Dunedin , happy to pay post if further away though, thanks

Hi everyone! After a recent unexpected shift to Chirstchurch, myself and my son had to sell and rehome our 3 tropical tanks. We are very much missing having beautiful tropical fish in our lounge. We are after a cheap setup - at least 50 litres , (wouldnt mind going back to a wee few guppies just for now) with all equipment preferably, filter, light and heater etc, if anyone has one to sell? Cheap please if possible, we are on a limited budget - luckily we kept all our cleaning and treatment products though! Also what pet shops are great up here - there are so many! any in-particular we should visit?? Thanks :-)

Mine will not touch flakes at all - flakes fed to the feeder baby guppies that he will not touch either...but he loves his ramshorns and pond snails, goes nuts for live white worms and will get frozen bloodworms a couple times a week. He definitely prefers live food!!

Wtb ramshorns, just seeing if anyone on here has some pesky wee snails they'd be happy to post to me if I paid postage costs before I have to pay for these snails I once desperately wanted rid of...how the tables have turned haha. Thanks :-)

I've also mystery snails in 2 other tanks, if I were to leave the clutch next time would the snails be suitable for puffers?

I had heard of some people giving pellets so was just wondering... Currently have MTS, wee few ramshorns that don't seem to be breeding like I thought they would, white worms, got free microworms culture with them so might as well try that? And have bloodworms already too. I've heard they can be really picky so wanted to try have a variety on hand for when they arrive.

Just wanting to know what people find their fw puffers prefer, best snails and worms to feed? Does anyones like pellets or dry food etc

Am in the process of shutting down tanks and have been let down in a sale of a few left over fish so these guys need to go urgently 2x angels , marble type colouring, yellow, white and black, one large one still small 1x golden rainbow shark currently about 7 cm 2x bristlenose, one about 10cm, think he's a male as has a beard and decent bristles, the other one about half the size Last but very not least a very stunning electric yellow cichlid of decent size Not sure what else I can do, they were meant to be picked up this morning but weren't so at a bit of a loss, it was a hard enough decision to shut down the two tanks due to personal circumstances and will only be left with one tank and I really can't keep them together. Pick up only in Dunedin
