It can't get stuck in the rocks it will get through the smallest gap. Have you got plenty of flow in the tank they love it. have you got a nice big rock with plenty of holes in it so it can get its foot right into the holes to hang on with. If you get it in the right place it want more, let it find its own space and hope that it doesn't get into a power filter. If it is the same as mine they love to sit on top of a rock with the foot in a hole. Where as bubble tips like to put the foot and trunk deep into the rocks and stick their head out Is it possible to put a photo up of it please.

Don't blame the fish, the shop should have advised you that they are not reef safe, if they didn't take it back!! In saying that I have got a beauty have had it for 2 years I also have a Bi colour. They only pick bad if I don't feed enough, I have tried to cut my feeding back to once a day but they start to pick bad. Also I put in a vegi clip if they pick that keeps them happy. There is only two corals I have had to put in the small tank because they think they are a salad bar. Having said all that I love my Lemon Peel and wouldn't get rid of it!!

I use tank water collected off the roof, it had no PO4 reading but we had to buy in water twice this year thats with two 5 thousand gallon tanks (always fine in Port Waikato ) Anyway the second lot of water we brought was off a different bloke and it was shit!!!! FULL of Phosphates and Nitrates he said he got it from his bore in Pukekohe must have run off from the Pukekohe Farms other wise he got it out of the Waikato River that stuff that they pipe up to you guys Ended up costing me a DI unit bought at Anthony Prestons $226.09, worth it for peace of mind. There was that much crap in the water I've had to change the resin. I bought the colour change resin that lets you know when to change it with the clear filter you can see when it goes brown. I just stick on the hose out side and slowly run it through the filter into 10ltr water containers to keep by the sump for use as needed.

Mr Control, I also wish to know where you got this info, I'm sure if you ask, most reefers use carbon!!!!!!! Infact it is in the instructions on ZEOvit that it is an important part of the system. Fay ZEOhead

I wish to make clear that zeovit had nothing to do with my bleaching problems I have been using zeovit for some time now with no problems. I was told when I purchased the carbon (not from zeovit nz) that it was high quality and to use 250mls wish I was doing for a couple of months, until I was reading up on the intructions from zeovit which said 600mls forgetting what I was told I went from 250mls to 600mls but I think it is more where I was running it in the sump that caused the problem to much flow.
