I started because I have the odd patch of red algae and I have to clean the glass heaps. Lost most of the cats eyes snails I put in, so could be the cause of a few problems and I feed heaps!! Rather have fat healthy fish than run down waiting to get whitespot.

Reef: Tanks are personal: Don't go with the flow, go with what you like Personal preference for me is full tank lots of rock so I haven't gone for the less rock look Why look at the back wall when you can look at rock and corals

Don't go over the top it is better to do things very slow your anemone looks bleached already if you over do that will be the first to suffer.

We pay $1000 a month house and shop, and we are on gas for cooking and water heating so I don't want to know what the tanks cost. All I know is we won't be able to afford this hobby when we retire

Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry :evil: My only suggestion is to do what Pies has done and don't get anymore fish for months after you know its gone. It must be very upsetting jetski asked why I didn't have any Tangs when he came to visit, my answer was simply they are ICH magnets

I made $30 dollars today showing my tanks to a bus load of people, I wasn't even home so didn't have to answer all the questions. Teina the lady that works for us had that pleasure had a phone call last night asking if I would mind. Got home to find they had given a small donation :bounce:
