  22. Just wondering as i setup my sump/refugium, ive noticed that many people have said that it is a good place to put peices of equiptment that you dont want to see inc heater. i will have two heaters in my total setup, 325lt main tank and an 80ltr(apprx) refugium/sump, now can i have both the heaters in the sump or will it make the water in the main tank to cool or do you need to compensate for cooling of the water on the way to the main tank by haveing a higher temp setting on the heaters in the refugium?? Sorry if some of these questions are seem trivial to some of you

    Sand

325litre just over four foot and 20"by20", being from hamilton i thought mount muanganui/tauranga or my other idea was some black sand from the west coast but im not sure about the iron content and its effects. your right about the look though, i much prefer the whiteness of the coral sand and the way it reflects the blue marinefluros.

    Sand

Hi Does anyone (im sure someone does) know if using sand from normal beach is ok to put into a marine/reef tank or will it have some adverse effect on the water chemistry
  25. 2 New marine tanks are in the process of being set up in Pet World For the people in auckland/wellington and Christchurch this may not be a big deal but that doubles the # of tanks in hamilton. they said that in about three weeks they should have the stock for the new tanks
