Fill it to the top add 120 neon tetra and 15 Peppered Cory and a small plec or two

I pretty much never did water changes in my 150l planted community tank. I just topped up evaporation losses. my water was like gin and my corys were spawning every other week. you just need a well balanced in tank ecosystem imo

Hey I played around with out knowing what i was doing and made up this out of piece of 75 x50mm electrical ducting 650mm long, garden hose from in tank filter up through water proof gland into bottom of one end of duct, cut 2 holes in lid ( spaced so i could cut in a third hole later if wanted ) used some hydro growing pots and clay balls from switched on gardner and cut a slot for a waterfall effect back into the tank got some 5 dollar plants from warehouse chucked em in and filled all area around plant baskets with bio noodles. I made this up purly as a filter and its worked great so far after about a month of running you can see the size difference in the plant on the left Lol Coppy right Aaron Morahan :ton:

Hi guys and galls! Kinda stumbled across this fantastic site while trying to find Amano shrimp in New Zealand (ha ha turns out you can't) Sooo was wondering were abouts one could find these critters around Dunedin? I have scoured the forum and think i have read every thread i can find that mentions shrimp and seems every one is either finding them around Auckland or Hamilton. Maybe they just don't live in the south? if so it appears i live in probably one of the few places in the world were i cant have shrimp lol :dunno: Any info would be great! Cheers Aaron
