I buy all my stuff from redwood's in christchurch they are very well priced and have excellent staff who know their stuff... I brought one thing from another shop which i wont name and it diedhe We all wish things where FREE or lots CHEAPER but if you want it you pay the price .... well sometimes

I hope it lives to but I think thats out of my hands now, maybe i'm out of my league when it comes to marine ( went to fast to quick ) or just poor management. But whatever may come of it Im up to the challange and will continue to educate myself as best I can with the help of your knowledge and others. By all accounts it has spit its gutts/food out its not a happy wee fellow its crazy it was doing really well up untill mid afternoon yesterday

My anoemone seems to do wierd things like turn it self inside out, some days its tenticles are really small and other days they are huge, but I dont think its doing to well at the moment, any ideas why its going crazy...

Just wanted to show off my first anemone... Its about the size of a dinner plate when fully opened can anyone tell me what its called, how big it will grow and is it very common... Not too sure I will have to have a look around for it.... I have mushrooms and other little living things in the tank which I dont want to kill with ANY treatment I use..

I have noticed a couple of my fish have come up with white spot I know there are ways to cure this, but I would like advice as to the best way or ways.... I will not use Copper as have seen to many bad things with that stuff, also have seen fresh water dips but not sure how effective that can be.. any help would be great...

I have a tank that has become free for my next project ( marine ) its only a little one but I just want to get my feet wet and see how it all goes at this stage, I want to crawl before I do the hundred meter dash in under 10 seconds so to speek... 1, Tank size L = 30inches W = 15 inches and H = 15 inches 2, Filter method 1, via - aqua 230 about 400L p/h ( i have new in a box ) or 2, powerhead attached to an undergravel system with filter wool in my uplift tube 3, I wanted wet rock with fish only system at this stage of the game untill i get the hang of things I not very keen on having things in my tank such as filters heater etc etc is rather ugly so i also thought about a sump with the skinner in that But anyway let me know what you think so far your input have been great i would rather keep my fish happy and alive than kill them..

I have been recomended to run a what " a closed loop " i think im going loopy HELP HELP so confused powerhead closed loops its all to much....
