  6. Hi there guy's hopefully i can provide a little bit of help, iv been in discussion with maf down here in Dunedin and have a copy of the latest list of species allowed to be imported into New Zealand including high risk species and treatments required to be administered to these species, also i have a copy of the fastest and cheapest form used for getting a species on the allowed list, I couldn't think of anywhere better to put these than here, i hope these will be of some help to people involved in this project. these are excerpts from the email i recived. Cheers Stephen
  7. Daily here sometimes missing a day here and there to keep them looking and not being lazy, although i think it's more down to what species you keep than a general rule of thumb

  18. Dunedin South Veterinary Clinic 44 Rankeilor Street South Dunedin 9012 (03) 456 2345 dunedinsouthvet.co.nz‎ Those are the vets my parents have used for years for their dog and cat's, i dont have cats or dogs so havent used a vet in a long time, for all my queries regarding fish iv used gardens veterinary clinic down by the botanical gardens. as for a cattery i wouldnt have a clue, my parents havent put their cats into a cattery but Penzance Kennels & Cattery 4 Buskin Road, RD 2 Highcliff 9077 (03) 454 5652 is where they send their dog, when they go on vacation. it's a bit far away from abbottsford though
  19. Awsome thanks man i will hit her up about it when i get closer to having my barracks completed, any ideas about wether she will ship this far down? Lol its considerably harder to get anything down here, the closest place that has anything specialised is CHCH, having no car makes that rather difficcult and with the price of gas would be rather out of the question anyway so its all down to the good old NZ Postal service here
  20. Hey guys well im looking at getting into breeding the good old betta splendens BUT living in Dunedin i only have 3 LPS and no LFS so the quality of the stock available is average at the best, where is the best place for me to get nice high quality brood stock and what are the going rates for these fish?? thanks in advance Stephen edit - bad spelling
