  1. You can also get crocodile and kangaroo meat, but have to be careful how you cook them both. Kangaroo is very lean like venison and you have to rest it for atleast the time you cooked it. If not rested properly you will have a decent mess to clean up
  2. So would it be possible to incubate to get a black leopard gecko? :spop:
  3. Awesome! Looking good, how much does it cost to build something like that? Pretty keen on building one now.

  8. Hi guys. I was traveling back from tauranga today when a duck was hit by the car in front, turned back to check it was okay but couldn't walk. Decided to remove him from harms way and bring him home. Have him in a large tank with blankets and water and some bread. Still not using his legs I am pretty sure in one is broken and the other is injured. I was hoping you could suggest something or know of anything that would help. Cheers
  9. Ceramics with thermostat is what I have found best, did use heat mats.
  10. Damn that sucks. Would it be possible to try? What temps would it need to be to be cold enough?
  11. I had stopped feeding before decreasing temps. They are 2yr+ just wanting to make sure they are in the right condition .
  12. Starting to decrease food intake for the reptiles and lowering temperatures. Just want to make sure they are in the right condition: What should the recommend weight of the above reptiles be for brumation?
  13. Hi guys. Unfortunatley I can not get to auckland to pick up a gun safe. I am willing to pay. Is anyone coming this way in the next couple of weeks? Guns safe is 68cmx40cm cylinder and is aparently quite heavy. Pick up is in Pukekohe.

  16. Thinking of brumating them now...should I just start lowering their temperature a couple degrees each week? The leopards seem to be sleeping alot more than usual and the bluey has gone into hiding, beardies are almost their.
  17. Hi guys, just set up a aqua one ar380 tank (34L, light, filter and heater). Would it be possible to turn it into a small basic marine tank for maybe some clown fish etc? Cheers.
  18. Do they stock a fair pet of food and accessories?
  19. As above. In Chch for next couple days keen to check some out.
  20. One of my choices would have to be a savannah monitor.
  21. Cool thanks for that. The leopards shouldn't be brumated if they are gravid right?
  22. Hi guys, planning on brumating the reptile room this year. Are they all the same for brumation? Start dropping there temp every couple of days? What months are the best?
  23. Ok, damn wish I was in Auckland these things would be so much easier. Had a look at their bellies. The one I think is the furtherest along , her eggs look smaller than when I last looked? What should I look for in size of eggs? and What is not a good sign? Sorry for all the questions, but first time with gravid leopards and starting to worry again.
