what fish are out there and how much would be a "good" price to pay for a fish or breeding pair?

what are the rules for getting an keeping natives i am sort of interested. Do i have contact doc or get them from a trout farm which has raised them? Are they Protected? And have any of you raised them?

what kind of catfish were you after

i have just been doing volcanoes in science and yes it should be inert.you can always pour vingar on to see if it bubbles.

i am also interested in getting into this,i am about to set up a fish shed and would be keen to have my main focus as guppys.pm me if you are still doing this

i did a stupid thing one of my fingers had some cuts on it and i had to stick my hand in the tank to free a fish useing both hands ops if you don't hear from me again i guess i got it and died hehe if you do happen to do something stupid like i did just wash your cut with anti-bacterial soap

there will be some bettas which i'm not worried about and some catfish that will be average size

i have asked my parents if i could and they have said yes!! !anyway what wanted to know is has anyone done it before and what did you do for lighting heating water etc. what would be some good fish to breed as i want to breed/sell something that people want.

information-it would not taste very good to eat a pacu because they have been swimming in there waste all their life. they should never be allowed to sell fish that get really large fast.

nelson-just adding my two cents i live in nelson and it is far better then hawkes bay my grandparents live there a few points 1.nelson/south island has volcaneos just our ones are mostly extinct nelson even has one on it's side! 2.rob is 100% right auckland has too many aucklanders 3.as far as fish goes auckland is the best but nelson is good too you can get things from wellington blenhiem chirstchuch westport if you ask on trademe.co.nz for a certain fish you can normally get them to nelson and they aren't badly priced 4.nelson has better beachs!!

i am interested in obtaining a breeding pair of catfish perfer smaller breeds not corys tho even if you don't have catfish it would cool to see what people are doing in nelson
