Update :cry1: :cry1: :cry1: Jager heater was faulty took it back and got another one from a different batch. They tested it in the shop and gave me 2 fish for the 2 that died So fingers crossed this time !

Tried that turned it right down to 18 its still on shouldnt be doin that taking it back for shop to test or swap !

Got my new jager heater set it to 25 Now its been on 16 hours and them it up to28 . And it hasnt turned off Tank is 90 liter and heater 100 watts. Room around 20 degrees With fire at night Have I got ANOTHER dud try thanks

Done that carefully to 18 won't turn off my poor fish

Got the Jager today 100 watt 62 bucks this young guy in HHFF is great to talk too... yay so can change the others later !!!!!!!!

There is no such thing as a "good" Jebo heater I would just ditch it altogether and get a Jager, I am sure you could borrow a heater if the Jager happened to die on you but that is quite unlikely..

Haha I though they looked better than the aqua one heaters Ive had mind you never had one of them fail just get condensation inside them Im wondering if its from the flow of the external filter the filter is quiet stong for a 90lt tank its either swap it until I can get another one or put up with it and hope for the best until I have the money for the rest for the jager if they will let me swap SO would be better to take the jebo back get another one and then get the jager when I can afford it I have 2 other tanks with aqua one heaters in them :facepalm:

Bloody thing was up a bit high again ive turned it down.. it was just at the end of the normal green mark (higest) I will have a look and see if I got my recepit Then ill ask HHFF nicly if I can change it for a jager when I can afford to in the next few weeks OR SHOULD I SWAP IT FOR ANOTHER JEBO until I can afford the jager I wouldnt mind having a good spare

It depends what you can afford if you have a few small tanks and can only afford a 20-30 dollar heater, well thats what you have but if you can affrod Jager then you can pay 80 dollars for one.. At the moment I only have the cheap ones... I just make sure I check each day.. BUT I agree with you the cheap ones aint very good at all My Aqua one 200 watt heater i put it on 24 and it goes to 28 thats 4 degrees difference something aint right plus i noticed the led lights on them work sometimes and other times dont

Yes correct fish aint cheap thanks ill look into replacing them when I can Are the Jager the best ones?? I see they are made by Ehiem which some of my filters are and they have lasted for ever I am thinking of getting rid of 2 tanks thou and keeping one

Jesus they are upto 100 bucks each !!!!!! I did have one that lasted 15 yrs for my turtle I think that was a jager will have to replace them one by one or get rid of 2 tanks and keep one i think Ive had no luck with the aqua one heaters, they dont fail on me but their range is terrible !!!! be nice not to have to check the temp everyday haha

:an!gry :an!gry :an!gry I brought jebo 100 watt heater from hollywood fish farm as i thought they were better quality than the aqua one heaters All going well then tonight my temp was just above the green safe bit on glass tem thing so would of been about 28 i checked it tank is still warm but its been of for ages.. i will check it in the morning to make sure its ok I checked on the heater it was on 24 which had been keeping it at 25 I took it out and turned it up and down and it went off but it was still hot for ages is this right?? and then it wouldnt go back on or off Now its off and ive got it on half on 24 (the red bit is half in the window part) why did it go up so much? 100 watt heater in 90 liter Aqua One A620 tank which I think is 90 my aqua one heaters the temp on them is on 24 but tank is upto 27 Advice plz

excellent thank you what is the riser tube?? thats easier than taking it out side like I did last time.. Excellent filter this cf1200 Adriene gave it to me, was ok until the cat landed on it and busted the taps AND FLOODED MY LOUNGE OMG WHAT A DRAMA do you change your taps and seals etc every two years what about the wool pad??

Hi one is an aqua one 1200 and the other one is a sun sun The aqua one has all the trays with the filter wood etc So i know I break it down and wash the stuff in tank water I want to know do I take the hoses off how do I remove it from the tank without making a mess. AND with the sun sun do I put the filter wool in the top???? (when i got it I didnt put much in so I have some more to add) Advice please PS they are great my fish are so much better since using these filters Cheers

UPDATE no dead fish so must of been ok !!!!! thanks for all your help now im doin 2 weekly water changes :gpo2:

Hi they do it in my other tank too. so must just be them... I have the spray bar at the bottom of the tank as the hose is long Would it be better to have it up the top ???? Apart from that they are all doing great thank you so much for your help. I have cut the food down too. Now all I got to know is how to clean the external filter without making a mess

I did another change today just about 1/3 or less The fish were up the top like skimming the water but they alot where in the middle and down the bottom so I dont think there is ammonia. They are happy as guppies tend to ride the top aye
