Black Pemba & Red Moorii Moliro Tropheus Red Moorii Moliro Calvus Lamprologus Ocellatus Julidochromis Transcriptus
  4. Hi Ymir The tank looks great! The Duboisi reached good size too and looks like the Neolamprologus leleupi are hiding under the rocks. I have some more, but you mast wait few weeks. :digH: Good luck with the Java and Xmas moss, but... duboisi will have good lunch and it will not grow good in high Ph. But good luck anyway. Coral
  5. Hi its a very bad news. :nilly: STOP feeding them for a whole week. (NO, NO fresh mussels from the supermarket at all!!) - Change 50% of water adding Furan II ASAP (from Pet Shop) - Keep them in the dark (no light) Good luck and keep me posted.( breeding tropheus for 3 years) Cheers
  6. Spirulina flakes
  7. Hi, the tank looks great! Yes, the algae will grow on the coral rocks. It looks great and also provides food for cichlids. In my tanganyikan setup I have corals to keep th PH up. My fish love them, but remember the Malawi and Tropheus are very active fish, so choose pieces with not sharp edges to avoid injury to fish. If you want to clean them bleach them on the sun for couple of days. Some people use chemicals to clean the corals which is WRONG. Good luck, can't wait to see "stereo" aquarium lol :happy2:
  8. Hi, it's Astatotilapia Brownae-Brown Hap from Lake Victoria. I used to breed them. I have a female for you FREE Lost my male last year

    Fish ID Please

I bought a selection of fish from a seller on Trade Me, including two of this fish that I was told was a Demasoni. When I brought them home, and compared them to my own Demasoni, it was obvious they were different. He is about 6cm long now. Yes, he is a nice looking fish, and I think mj was right in suggesting it is a Cynotilapia afra. Thanks to everyone for their help!

    Fish ID Please

I looked into the Cynotilapia afra on the internet, and I think you're right. His behaviour and appearance seems very similar to the afra. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.
  11. Hi, I was told the fish is a Demosoni, but it doesn't look like one to me. Demonsoni have four dark stripes on their body and this one has six and 3 spots on its bottom-rear fin. Can anyone please help me with identifying this fish? Thanks.
