After talking to my partner we have decided we want black sand but we cant find any in the nelson area can anybody point use in the right direction

Make sure daily water changes if feeding brine shrimp feed them as much as they can eat in 10-15 mins they do not need to be seperated till about 5 weeks old be aware they do have a high death rate but in concerns ask on here or the axolotl forum Good luck to u

I have the frozen Bloodworm cubes am im about to use them for the first time to feed my young axolotls i understand they are messy is there anyway in perticlar to feed them or just put the cube in the tank thanks

I would like a very basic tank because i would like to add another tank to my home but something simple to look after i have an learning illness and a mental illness and i find it hard to do alot of things but i really enjoy fish and would like some more. At the moment i have 2 grown axolotls and around 30 baby axies

if you do put fish in with your axes you need to be careful on how many fish the axes may eat as they take a long time to digest it may be harmful to the axes

i have it in a tank with two of my axes and large pebbles bigger then there mouths and dont have a problem with it plus the black makes my gold axes stand out nathan

i would like to own a siamese fighter but i know nothing about them or what the need can anyone give me advice on the type of tank setup etc i have owned fish in past and im breeding axolotls at the moment so i have some experence in looking after fish i would just like to know more about fighters thanks nathan

I have a couple of brine shrimp hatcherys going but they are not hatching one has been going for 20 hours and my other for 18 hours i cant work out what im doing wrong i really need them to hatch to feed my fry thank you

Hi there, My axolotls have recently bred (first time) and I've kept approx 30 eggs (although a few look like they won't develop). I've got a Brine Shrimp Hatchery and a culture of Microworms. I've read conflicting things on the net regarding how many times you feed them a day and how much at one feeding... can anyone tell me what worked for them and how much they need regarding both the baby brine shrimp and the microworms? Thanks heaps in advance!
