I was told 75 gallons was sufficient for the 2 Oscars... Would rehousing the red devil and pleco solve my problem? I really cant afford a larger tank right now. not to mention I have 9 running in an apartment already.

That all depends on what wall in the house they are using. if its origional or added... sounds like the a convo for a different site.. the tank sounds great! nice and active

Of course I pick my rocks like diamonds. Color, Clarity and Cut. However I've noticed some rocks that are textured sometimes have "things" in the grooves, and warrant a little extra attention when scrubbing. I always feel better boiling those. However I cant say the fish mind either way.

I have a custom made 75gallon(255 liter ) hexagon tank. it houses 2 Oscars (7in) , a Red Devil (5 in), and a Pleco (8in). It is constantly cloudy. I do weekly partial changes 25-40 %. And there is enough filtration for 3 times the size of this tank. "WHAT IS GOING ON?" Is there any remedy?

I Name my similar fish in group names like families.. I have The Jackson 5, The Osmonds, New Edition, etc.

Thanks.. I have 2. one is about 6in. the other about 4. The larger one does seem to pick on him a bit. Would it be better to separate them? What fish would they get along with?

I picked up these guys at my LFS Today. no one seems to know what they are. Can anyone ID this fish.

what can i use as a laxative for my green spotted puffer.. I believe one of them is constipated due to overeating..

Do they get along well with each other? Can I just have a puffer tank maybe. all that tank seems like such a waste for one little guy. I do like the Gobies I will look out for them.

I was sold a GSP as a freshwater fish at my LFS. upon doing more research i found out he is actually brackish. instead of taking him back I bout a 30 gallon tank and made it brackish. now it's just him in there. What would be some good tank mates for this little guy? Are there any algae eaters or bottom feeders that can survive the high salt levels in the tank?

They seem to be coping well.. I found one making an escape Via my Whisper Filter. All my other tanks are filled with Fish I am sure will snack on those little guys, or is at capacity already. I do have a small 10 gallon i just bought for convict Fry once they are independent I can add sand and put them in there maybe.. I JUST WANTED THEM! Everytime I go to the LFS they never have any.

Okay I have them in with young cihclids J.Dempseyx3, firemouthx1, and 1 ostracized female convict. I figure the cichlids will have to be moved but they can remain permanent residents of the 113l tank..

Oh okay that's happened to me once... But that's the best of 1.000.000.000 photos of the frog. Have not seen him since as he has plenty of hiding spots in my 180l Community Tank. here is one other ok one... but I dont think its much better. Worse even... But i will be on the lookout for him... thanks guys.

GRRRRRRR. Please don't freak me out! Somebody may be getting Eels for Xmas. I would be able to handle 1ft max. Unless they can survive large cichlids...

Thanks Hans of course I brought them home before I got a response.. I think they are zig zag... I am gonna try my luck with the.. Only brought home 3. I was told they would get no more than 6inches... So we'll see...

I have Convict Fry Ive decided to raise sum for food others for my nephews. I have moved them to a 38l tank,,, with heater and air stone.I was feeding them brine shrimp and ground flakes. I'm Hatching BBS as we speak. My question is keeping the tank clean... Filtration and water changes. They have a Whisper 5-15 Running.

I fell in love with some spiny eels at my lfs. Does anyone know much about this fish? I can't really find many resources on it, but I really wanna bring home 2 or 3 or s few... :oops:

The bare tank i use to house the convict fry once siphoned should be about what size? They will be able to eat standard brine shrimp?

At what size should I feed them to: Oscars 6 inches, Red Devil 4in. ,RB Pacu 6in.,Clown Knife 8in?
