Yes you need saltwater. collect from the beach if u wanna save dosh lots of us do. heating at this time of year is prob a good idea.

32mm hole will be fine for 4ft cant go wrong with an eheim pump plenty of S/H ones around, PM me if you want one I have a spare.I'm sure we all have plenty of spare bits & bobs if you sing out.Good luck.

I got a gorgonian from a tank i recently striiped down the guy thought it was a softie. I put it on trade me. as you do Reef then puts on the thread they arent allowed in so I withdrew the thread(ad) SO where did you all get yours from then? Need I ask really. Whats good for the goose isnt good enough for the gander!!! Whats a gander anyway?

Apart from...Ammonia 1 Nitrite .25 Nitrate (ouch) 160 I'd like the other parameters! Does the KH make sense tho? its pretty high?

Mich, I think what were saying is without a waterchange those parameters should drop eg CA KH Mg etc I know mine do without a Calc reactor or big waterchanges! they might have been adding something??

The ones I have called 4ft I just measured are actually 1160 long so are designed to fit on a 4ft tank. I think its standard practise maybe someone else could measure there T5's?
