Its a bit soon to be thinking about getting some new fish dont ya think!?
-
40mm? You won't even be able to fit a plec into that without some kinda lubricant.
Ira- Not all plecs are monsters, he probably means 'fancy plecs'
-
I think i might go with the first one, as i think i would get a larger variety of different colours.
And because her fins are rather long for a female.
-
Ive heard there is a few species in nz of hillstream loaches, and i would like to try 2 or 3 in my puffer tank once setup.
Il have the temp at 25-26 ish and the puffers are Carinotetraodon travancoricus.
And i will have parts of the tank with high water circulation, and it'll be well oxygenated.
So would any species go around that temp? The tank is 80Lish.
-
Some sailfins can get up to 15cm! Ive only ever seen one that was close to this size though, and only a few at 10cm
-
I would like a school of oto, but at $15 each i cant afford 5 or 6 right now, same goes for pygmy cories, so i havent got any of either YET.
-
So i just got another male betta, and hes not getting along with my other fish too well, so i thought before i get rid of him i will try breed from him.
This is him:
Want to breed him with this girl:
Or:
What i need to know is what size tank would be suitable for the spawning?
I have a free 15L and a 30L that will be free ina aweek or 2.

Proabably a cross, but they do look nice and natural
-
I think you need some more cories and otos, they both like to be in groups or around 6 or more
-
Most mollies are Poecilia sphenops. The different colours are just morphs of the same species. You can also get lyre tailed versions.
There are also sailfin mollies P velifera.
Realy?
The picture molly looks more like one of the sailfins to me or a hybrid atleast, Most mollies these days are hybrids As far as i know
-
They are awesome!
They look like a wild sailfin crossed with my gold/white female

Hi Caryl, thanks for that. I thought the fry may be deformed and I'd have to dispose of them all.
Depend on what fish the dwarf honey is, theres a strain of c.lalia referred to as honey, but the normal dwarf honey is c.chuna.
2 different species
Is the honey the same size?
Maybe you should post pics
