The southern encounter has one in a large tank/(pool with window)with rays, pigfish,and a heap of others.

Im going to try get some lelupi sometime in the next couple months, but i thought i might aswell get the substrate and deco. now so i can set it up as soon as the tank is free. So the tank im going to use is a 3x1x1ft tank. And will have a 800lph internal power filter running. So what kind of substrate do i use and do lelupi like heaps of rockwork?

Pming him now I have always liked these fish,hopefully i cant get some on this tank once i grow the discus to a better size.

in winter, it proabaly would, but if you put them in at the end of october/november and took them out around april they should be ok.

I tried it once with 2 pairs of kribs(1albino/1normal) looks cool, but the kribs dont like it.

I would say Brackish,They are alot more active andgrow bigger in brackish too,and ive read they live longer in brackish aswell. When i had fig8s we kept them in fresh and they stayed under an inch the whole time -
But they can grow and breed faster,because they have a constant supply of 'critters'

We had a clown from when he was10-12cm that had spots when we had him.

Is there 2 species of black neon tetras? Recently i have started seing other black neons at animates. the normal ones look like this: But the ones at animates have a Darker Black across the top and on the head :-? Anyone know whats happening?
