Lights not working at all, turn it on nothing happens, bulbs seem ok and replaced starters as they have disintegrated, there is rust around the top, can't get screws to undo to check underneath. Might need new ballast, we got given the tank from a friend of my sons, everyhting else works well.

Just got given a nice Jebo r362 tank and have set up but the lights aren't working have replaced the starters but still not going. There is a bit of rust around the top as been in storage for a while. Does someone in Tauranga know how to fix it. Please. Thanks Jim

Due to circumstances we are unable to host Peter Cottle's talk he was going to do. Sorry about this hopefully next time we can look at having him talk about his experiences in Burma.

Hi all. We are organising for peter Cottle to come and do a presentation on his trip to Myanmar for the 21st November at around 1pm. in Tauranga. details will come later when we have finished finalising the venue. Hey guys next meeting is 22 October at 16a Balmoral Terrace in Otumoetai, start time 7.30pm supper included. Remember we are having the garage sale on the Saturday so bring along all the things you don't need any more and we will sell them and if you want something sold personally bring it along with the price and 10% will go to the club,. Now that I have left Animates I can spend more time training him, have started with basic commands like sit etc. When he has had his final shots at the end of the month can start lead training him. We got him from an awesome breeder who we can trust and his parents are lovely friendly dogs. :bounce:

This is the new family addition his name is Monty, he is 8 weeks old and a Shih tzu/ Maltese/ Lhasa Apso puppy. He is full of energy and wants to play with the kitten but Mickie wont play with him!!

The new name for the Western Bay Aquarium and Pond Society is the Bay Fish and Reptile Club. This was passed unanimously at our last meeting . It was also good to see all the new members turn up and there input was greatly appreciated. Next meeting in July looks like it will be a trip to Wonderworld in Rotorua more info to follow. Hi there all: How about Bay Fish and Reptile Club as we would like to include all fish keepers eg ( marine, saltwater, coldwater, tropical) and include people with turtles and other reptiles, as there are alot of reptile keepers out there and marine. This will increase our club membership and diversity. Cheers

Hi Mark Actually don't know why it is held out in Papamoa, I think someone organised it so we can use the boardroom free of charge, will discuss this at the next meeting and see about making it in Tauranga.
