AGM held last club meeting. Appointed as President Jim Sytema ( Jim Sy) Jane McCarthy as Treasurer and Mike Sytema as Editor (syphonator). Next meeting 26 April at 2.30pm at the Papamoa Pet Shop in the Plaza at Papamoa, subs due at the next meeting. Hope to see more members join.

Western Bay of Plenty Aquarium and Pond Society next meeting. Will be held at the Papamoa Board Room, please meet at the Pet shop in the Plaza at 12 o'clock on Saturday 29th March. Bring your own lunch and any new members please. See you there!! :lol:

have two large female swords 1 pineapple and 1 orange that seem to be hanging on for dear life and havent droped yet they gone well over the 28 day period and are still gorged. have tried frequent water changes and increseing water temp. maybe have to let them take there own good time LOL!! any sugestions :bounce:

it is in an 80L tank with couple koi angels, couple pearl goramis,green tiger barb , 3 swords and 4-5 serpae tetras and a bristle nose. it was bought as a juvinile about 2months ago and its only the tail that effected. thanks for your imput so far may be stressed by tiger barb :lol: you guys are awesome

Hi all just joined and pleased to be here. Have small tank with various fish and have got a son, neice and brother in law back into fish looking to join the local western bay club. have already met lots of great people here in tauranga and hope to meet more throughout NZ
