I recently brought a tank that had 3 frogs and a skink. The lady said that her cat had caught it and had been living in the tank happily but also said that it is illegal to keep them in NZ. If so should i release it back into the wild? Cheers B

We are just going through something similar, my bitch is in heat and my boy ( chained up to his kennel) wouldn't stop barking at all times of the night and day so we tok her over to my Mum's yesterday and i had the best night's sleep ever last night!! But back to the jumping, have you heard of clicker training? it works on rewarding the good behavour. You start off by spending time with them and getting them used to a clicker. You click and then reward with a treat ( Something soft like luncheon sausage) once they know they will get a treat from just hearing the clicker then you can train them to do anything!!!! So in your case take him up to the fence and click and reward him so that he knows just being at the bottom of the fence on the right side he will get a reward for it. With my dog the second he stops barking he gets a treat so associates not barking with getting a treat!! HTH and the best of luck

I have done alll that you suggested when i set up the tank it's only half full. The filter that i have on it was one that was on my 3ft Cichlid tank which i now have an internal at the moment while i sort out the CF700 for it. The smallest is about 5cm's. The suction cup was in the foreground. Will addd the coral and some pots to see how they go.

Have just taken these, they look a pinky colour and almost transparent.

Filter is semi cycled... Used About 48 litres of water from my other Cichlid tank to kick start the tank and filter.

Not at the moment, I got 4 huge pieces of coral but they are covered in Snails and don't want snails in the tank!!! Would that help them settle? Are the little ones(last photos) bumblebee babies?

Well what should i do then? They are eating fine and swimming but yes they do sit on the bottom alot. When i picked them up they were in a bucket ( about 10litres) and 3 of them had already died. Then transfered them to the chilibin to transport home and set up the tank. Left them in the chili bin for 3 hours with heater and air stone but my daughters tried to touch them and the pleco freaked and killed 4 more, including what i think was a Neolamprologus brichardi. What else can i do...?

No the pics of the bubbmble bees were the ones in the free tank!

It's just where they seem to be. The one holding does have a sunken belly and only noticed her and moved her out of the main tank this afternoon, The rest are in excelllent condition!!

I went with hubby and had an awesome time, we had corprate seats on Holden Corner, thanks Waikato Toyota!!!! The atmosphere was so cool everything was exceptional except the weather on Saturday didn't know what it wanted to do!! As for the seating problem if that was the only complaints for the first street race in how may years then i think the organisers did a faboulous job!!! Can't Wait for next year it will rock even more!! :bounce: :bounce:
