iv had mine for just under a week now and iv got eggs will see how things go iv put a post up in the breeding section for you all to follow

ok guys so iv got the standard blue rams breeding like crazy thought i would give these guys a go brought 2 on Saturday and this morning i have eggs ill be keeping the parents with them at this stage as i like this method more, but will keep you up to date on what happens i don't no if you can see the eggs was a bit hard but in the second photo there hidden in the wood. so lets if we can breed them and put the competition out there for everyone to follow :bounce:

thanks yep im pretty happy to have such good parents, hears hoping they give some more batches like that.

well the baby's are about 8 weeks now. the parents have got another good lot of eggs they have and 2 lots since the first but haven't looked after them and there have only been about 10 this time a good 100 again, so heres hoping another lot like the first.

hey all so im giving breeding blue rams a go, all went well with first try the fry is nearly 3 weeks old and i would say still 80% + left, and the parents have layed again, in the same tank with the young its only about 45L so im taking the babys out tonight, and will leave the parents with the eggs and see how they go. so how many people out there have had there rams or other fish lay eggs while there babys are still in the tank, they are the only ones in the tank.

yep their 7 days now eating bbs and micron baby food, the parents are looking after then well got some hm bettas on the go at the mo too and getting some discus so going to busy as :bounce:

i like the sponsor idear if we pick an animal or get given one then have a bord up saying who has what. maby more of the locals that come to the park might be intrested in doing it a small amount each month/week will help out a lot in the long run. -

I agree i was thinking the same thing so if we could get his bank account deatils on here and every one put in as much as they can i mean whats $5-$10 thats nothing right but if eveyone dose it that will help just have to put donation on the reffrence part so the bank knows please someone put his bank account deailts up so we can get donating we could all b like oprah for a week 8) -

Im using all sera products flora day drops, flora plus for growth and macro nutriets, and florenette A for iron and minerals, florena liquid for the leffy plants and sera co2 tabs every now and then. hope thats waht you wanted to no

Thanks The only plant out there is gloss, im not the biggest fan of needs high light and a good sub fert. what els would you use??

My 40l tank 350Lx400Wx350H it has a filter bult into the back that holds the media and heater and gets pumped back into the tank, lighting is 24w in pl tubes. I have a under gravel heater and i dose with sera flora day drops evey day also using tab and liquid fert, every week when i do a water change. it has been set up for about 3-4 months. Plants are a verity of crypts, some tiger lotas, red mac, rotalia, ambulia, anabus nana.plus more.
