depending on the light does it look blackish

any one know what it is and how to get rid of it

I must have an easy cb, not even had him a week yet and he feeds from hand, eats blood worms as well, i wont give him new hatch brine shr in case he packs a sad and wants it all the time, yt and brown nemo killed fire shrimp today first time hes come out to clean someone and got wiped out

the shops set up is very simple 150lt tanks no mh just 2 fl in each tank eheim wet&dry filter thats it

east road pets invercargill she has a big turnover in everything not a lot of marines like up your way, salt water not big down here ,plenty of crays in the restaurants though,thats brob why it was still there hes about 3 1/2 in how old would he be

i also got a cb and a yt and cleaner shrimp on sun all doing realy well feeding good the tang cleaning up any algea both are gobbling up frozen brine shrimp the cb is getting cleaned by the new shrimp, been watching the cb at a fish shop since jan and he seemed to a handle a lot of hassling so i grabed him ,when i get new fish now i keep them in the dark for a day and they seem to like , i lost a nice striped rass a while a go wish i had of kept in the dark for a while.

how do you guys up north store your sea water, do you airrate all the time, and heat when you deed it?

i was offerd a new one cheap but the $ could go to a better one if they are old tec the deltec look good any one know the cost

pacific blue where do you have your skimmer, have had a look at your pics but hard to tell, can you explain your set up to me pumps etc i would be happy to have a set up like yours looks ok to me with out spending mega $$, and what suppliments you add etc , in your pics you have your trickle filter still on the back

take what you can get you will be saving it from the big trawlers and long liners that send 80 % of it overseas anyway, and it all free, get a chiller with a heater you might need it one day, remember fish allways need to call off ,the water temp down our way goes from 8deg to 17 in the warm currents the normal is 10, they dont hang around in the warmer temp here just move in and out of it ,have just priced a chiller heater 2 weeks ago, was a Hailea HC300 1/4 HP $885 Hailea Pump Hx6540 2880lt hr $150 tap set $40

your local comercial fisherman will tell you the average temp in your area take what you can get save it from the big trawlers and long liners and its free

oh ,what sort of price did you pay for tank

did you do any changes to the lights ,and is there many gaps at the back of the filter box for hoses etc with out cutting it to bits, i am looking at a 180 ver
