i to told them to throw a mussel in too. to get things going they said yesterday been running for three weeks now and havent even had a reading yet in Ammonia, Nitrate,or Nitrite so surely fish flakes is a very slow process or they not sure what they are doing

bomb the house i do it every year i used to throw a blanket over the tank but now the tank is in the wall i dont bother just block the door way up remember if you have air pumps running turn them off

Well went into Pet City to see how the tanks are going. they are still cycling, i said did you throw half a mussel in.no they said feeding the tank with fish flakes no skimmer running they said its coming i can see it being one of those cheapy ones,I can see this being a flop will get some pics up soon off there tanks
