Hi, I am in Christchurch. I used to breed a lot of tropical fish for sale and trade in tropical aquarium plants. I have returned to the hobby after an absence of about 20 years and am enjoying the developments that have arrived in that time

This site is super! With all your experience, I am sure that you'll be a great contribution here...especially for newbies like me. The people are great here :P:P

Welcome along alanmin 4304!

What a long break from fish keeping. How many tanks have you got so far this time around?

PS Caper, I agree with Mystic, you have graduated from newbie. I've seen you giving out plenty of advice!

Hi Alanmin.. You say:

I have returned to the hobby after an absence of about 20 years

Not much has changed... except things have got lot dearer.. and more complicated.. but the basics are still the same.. and fortunately most of the fish are still around :)

The "great" thing is that we have the net now, and this very active site to catch up with all those lost years.

Enjoy your visits.

Bill.

you have graduated from newbie

Thanks Mustcooktea...as long as all you experienced folk make sure to correct me when I'm wrong :P

Fishkeeping is a lot easier with a Net
