What beachs in chch area can i find large pieces of driftwood that dont make the water go nasty and would look nice in a CA setup?

I agree with Alan. West coast is the place to go for nice bits. Waikuku beach had alright bits, but its not hardwood

my mate found a nice bit out near woodend beach but they are few and far in between iim looking at going over the coast in a few weeks ill see what i can find you

Perhaps CTT should consider a club trip over to the west coast

well there is westlands water world over there and plenty of trout my dad lives 10mins south of punakaiki and there is masses of driftwood along that coast (greenstone too if you are lucky) fox river beach is best
