PENEJANE
Unfortunatly I have lost my crowntail betta and hoping that the small handful of fry I managed to save from his last spawning will come up with something good. But I would like to show off the lovely male I have from spawning my HM big red male with a veiltail female. Hes not a HM as such as when he flares it doesn't form a straight | at the base of his tail. So probably more along the lines of a super delta or round tail. But here he is anyway. :bounce:

Aaron-Betta
Whoa!!! how do your Bettas spawn that much, mine usually do around 100 or if they're a bit older and fed up a bit, 150.....

Loopy
They don't look as impressive in that photo. That was taken when i was grading and sizing them out. they are split between 2 2ft tanks now and both tanks look way crowded still. i wish i knew how to get big spawns like that. I think it was just luck and a combination of a good pair of very fat healthy fish who were VERY keen to do the jiggy thing, A daddy fish who does a spectacular job looking after the kids and a good hatch rate. And mum has just always seemed to be really fat and full of eggs. That Crowntail boy is gorgeous!!!! *sigh* I really really really REALLY wish i could find a boy like that. or even better would be a girl! The LFS's keep getting in the same old boys and i have enough boys already. and there are never any females around
