dhindry
What other sort of other problems are you having? My tank has quite a few of these pests, but I have just left them. They don't tend to have a long life. I remove any that get near my other corals, as they can sting, but other than that I am not worried about them. There are many ways of getting rid of them, but my method is to fill a syringe with lemon juice and inject it into the anemone. Hope that helps Daniel

KP
I prefer injecting them with liquified a eye of newt. Works a treat
chimera
they're not bad, they're just a nuisance as they grow and multiply so quick overtaking everything else. i find joes juice works well, get some from your local hff. alternately mix up some thick kalk paste and inject it into the mouth (not yours, the anemones )

jetskisteve
yeah starting to think its kinda seasonal as well, not that some people dont get it at other times its just strange how many are now?
reef
cyno is caused by hight nutrients in the water, it is always around but comes out when water quality is not the best or when starting a new tank. I get small amounts when i overfeed for long periods. Certainly NSW will contain lots of nutrients especially around auckland which can cause cyno outbreaks. wasp
Got a few other problems, but cyano not one of them. Finally got phosphate down to (hanna) 0.01 or 0.00, but still got nitrate around 10 (salifert). There is a big fishload for my tank size, maybe it's that, also got a very low flow area for softies, I'm wondering if that could cause it?
