Lurch
I have aquired a full sized chocolate catfish, i'm not sure what i should be feeding it. I already use shrimp pellets, spirulina discs, discus tucker and bloodworms for various other fish in the tank, will this be enough or does it need something else. There was a gimpy neon and a guppy i didn't like in the tank when i put it in but they have gone missing. Am i right in suspecting the choc catfish? Its the only one with a big enough mouth

Caryl
Scroll down the page a bit to see if the chocolate catfish, Raphael catfish is the one you mean.. http://fish.mongabay.com/doradidae.htm It says they eat snails, crustaceans, insect larvae plus small fish, tablets and will graze on algae. catfish_dude
Raphael/chocolate catfish will eat smaller tankmates so you have good reason to suspect the catfish. As for feeding them...they eat almost anything! not very fussy at all, im sure that they will eat any pellets that you put in the tank.
