BK
How often can I feed young Discus W/W. Heard that they are high in something so shouldn't feed to much. Currently giving them one feed a day of WW and one of Tetra bits.
Wok
Hi BK Yes the white worms are high in Fat. Feeding once a day with colour bits is fine. I do the same with my discus
Discusguru
Hi BK, Young Discus should be fed more than twice a day . Like Wok says WW is high in fat and once a day on it is alright. You have to feed other food for the rest of the feedings. Colorbits, beefheart, bloodworm, brineshrimp flakes. My fish get at least 6 feeding a day. BK
In bb tanks so food available all day if I feed WW in the morning some are still moving when I get back from work. They're much bigger than a 50c coin.
Fishman
Do you know anyone in Northshore where I can get a starter culture?
Pegasus
If you are referring to Live Foods, the company is Biosupplies in Auckland, and they are on Eskdale Rd in Birkenhead. Their website is: http://www.ak.planet.gen.nz/~bio/ Bill.
alextret
I received the "big" whitewarm culture from them this week. Worms arrived quite alive, but with no instructions as to what to do with them (I do not really need instructions that badly, as I have enough info from elsewhere). It is, well, big - I split it into 3 wooden boxes. Worms are munching on dog biscuits.
