jude
I have pieces of this plant to give to anyone who is willing to send me a stamped, addressed plastic (courier type) envelope. I grow it floating and I like it more than the Indian ferns as it doesn't make so much of a mess. I've tried to plant it but it seems to want to float. I thought it was cardamine lyrata but after reading this article, I think its more likely to be Hydrocotyle leucocephala http://www.aquarticles.com/articles/pla ... 0leuc.html I've also looked at these pages in an attempt to id it but am still undecided. Cardamine http://www.fnzas.org.nz/plant_survey/aq ... 731ad4abc4 http://www.tropica.dk/productcard_1.asp?id=024 Hydrocotyle http://www.fnzas.org.nz/plant_survey/aq ... 7c48b2f809 http://www.tropica.com/default.asp I would love some help with identifying this plant. IOU1
Hi, I would love some if it is legal. I would hate MAF to turn up on my doorstep. How big does the bag need to be? (A5, A4 etc) Thanks
Plantman
i will vote for Hydrocotyle leucocephala
jude
Yes its legal - both the choices are. It only needs to be a small bag but I prefer the plastic padded ones because the plants are more protected and the water won't leak out. The ones about half the size of A4 are fine. PM me for my address Cheers Jude
cesarz
Hi Jude, Looks like Hydrocotyle, check out this URL. It has pictures of submerged and emersed forms of Hydrocotyle and Cardamine. http://www.forumaqua.com/print-459-evol ... ement.html The classification of plants is best seen in the flowers they produce, not the leaves. Has it ever flowered?
