2fishy Posted June 14, 2006 Report Share Posted June 14, 2006 my new african tank, i know cichlids and plants dont mix well, but i really like the look of real plants. my tank is 4ft, pH 7.5-8, temp 25. fishboi Posted June 14, 2006 Report Share Posted June 14, 2006 yep java fern just tend to float around until they grab hold of something in the tank [ i have drift wood in the tank they have grabbed on to] with their roots. they do nibble on them but not enough to do any damage.
