caserole
It's a shame you don't have a photobucket url for bigger dimentions. BUT TANK LOOKS GREAT. Just love the colour reflecting off the Emperor tetras, u don't see thou's colour so much when kept under brite light.
Lucid
It's a shame you don't have a photobucket url for bigger dimentions. I agree stu, it looks fanatastic, would love to see some larger pics. B
Luke*
It's too dark to see it properly. If you have photoshop increase the brightness.

Not A Soldier
Thanks for your thoughts. Just love the colour reflecting off the Emperor tetras, u don't see thou's colour so much when kept under brite light. I think caserole, that the emperor tetras you refer to may be congo tetras as i don't have any emperor tetras. Unless of course they are the same thing spelt different
ljtan55
Wow your tank looks awesome! How did you get that plant to stay up the top right hand side?
Faran
Major prop, I;d have to say. The only improvement I could imagine would be a moss wall on the back but that would take away from the black/green contrast (have the same in my tank) and decrease depth perception. Best thing of this tank is that it photographs well and doesn't end up being a big green blur like heavily planted tanks. Nice work and a real credit. Would it be cheeky to ask for more pics in a photobucket album? List f the plants you have would be cool. Never know what you might have lurking in there that could be a rare item. Need wnat/some tennelus (Dwarf Pygmy Chain Sword) or do you have some?
Not A Soldier
Wow your tank looks awesome! How did you get that plant to stay up the top right hand side? Thanks ljtan55, The plant on the top right is on a runner from one of the plants below it, it is floating there by itself using the mother plant as an anchor. I could cut it off and plant it but my 2 Ornate Ctenopoma (Ctenopoma ansorgii) like to hang out in it. The plant is a Bleheri Sword (Echinodorus bleheri). Need wnat/some tennelus (Dwarf Pygmy Chain Sword) or do you have some? Thanks BlueandKim, more pics on the way to photobucket soon. Plants are: 3 of Cryptocoryne balansae 4 of Hemigraphis colorata 4 of Bleheri Sword (Echinodorus bleheri) plus a few new ones on runners 1 Java fern A little bit of Java moss 1 Red Barclaya (Barclaya longifolia) Some mini sag Some twisted val Am experimenting with some pygmy chain sword (it's mainly floating round the top at the moment :-? ) 1 bunch of straight val A tall cutty grass looking plant that waves about in the current and looks wicked! (owners opinion) and 1 as yet unidentified "lettuce" looking plant that is well established on a piece of driftwood in the front left. Phew, thats a mouthful. Alan
Looks good NAS, but try to get the heater down lower so it is'n't looking like a shining beacon, also if you were to take your straight val and plant it closed to the filter at back right, that would disguise that corner as well. Keep it up Alan

Keep it up Alan 104 Thanks Alan, I have some crypts in the back corner which should grow taller with time and patience. Great idea for the heater, I have just been waiting for the twisted val to grow taller and hide it.

Not A Soldier
Thanks everyone for the feedback. I think I've sorted photobucket. (Big ups to Caserole and Caper for suggesting them to host my pics) There are are a bunch of pics there of the aquarium as it came together... And a couple of my table tank. The link should be here somewhere here \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/
Luke*
Ahhhhh much better visibility now thanks NAS. Looking really really good. I'd just recommend some fill in the back middle and back left, and the driftwood in the mid section sticks up attracting the eye and adds symmetry. The aim is usually to have a flowing aquascape that looks like a riverbank and the rest of your set up certainly reflects those aspects, nice work. Oh and of course will look great with more ground cover or when the rest spreads out. All just IMHO of course. Is it 6 ft x 2 x 2? I just got 3 congos myself, spawning in the plants after a week, gotta love them.
Caper
:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Oh my gosh, you actually have a coffee table tank Can you post some pics of it???????? How does it work, etc???
Faran
It's in his photobucket album, caper. Big bowl with a circular glass lid to form a coffee table. internal filter and heater have cables that just run across the floor to it. Nothing difficult to make yourself.... if you know how to form acrylic or blow glass, that is
