lduncan Posted May 20, 2006 Report Share Posted May 20, 2006 There are two species, diphreutes and acuminatus. Diphreutes is considered more reef safe. They have distinctly different shaped "font ends". Diphreutes has a flatter front, with a deep chest. Whereas acuminatus has a more pointed one... for eating coral I guess. tel Posted June 17, 2006 Report Share Posted June 17, 2006 yeah jansens has the acuminatus by the look of it. it was actually razing the slower fish and got demoted to another tank when i was there. diphreutes looks quite different i believe, different head, markings and short dorsal.
