fishboi
yes, that is a bit pricey for "sucky fish" but good deal on breeding oscars though.
Faran
Hope that's a Royal Pleco!!!! Why are standard plecos one of the few fish out there that never increase in value with size - mostly due to the fact they don't breed in captivity? Ira
Because most of the people that are selling them are desperate to get rid of them because they didn't bother to find out how big the cute little bitty sucky fish grows.
dennis
i had one about the same size and i got $10 for mine
sharn
i think thats very very pricey for a breeding pair of oscars, it isnt hard to get a viable breeding pair if you have the space to grow six up to the 20cm mark and let them spawn in the tank. he doesnt state that they have ever managed to get to wriggler/free swimming stage which is a problem- two female oscars will often pair up and try make babies... Faran
Pleco is up for auction. Seems that someone told him $100 is a good price. Hmmm. I guess it's more realistic than $150!
sharn
im not pleco expert but that looks too 'camo' to be a common/sailfin, it definatly looks cool. hopefully catbrat can confirm what it is?
Ira
Looks like a common plec, most likely anyway. They do get that patchy coloring when they're stressed or just in a bad mood.
Modern Angl
Looking at that picture, my first though was a stressed common pleco, looks just like the one that was in Animates a few weeks ago.... they get large pale patches when they are stressed, usually from lack of cover in the tank for them to hide in.
