pH of water.

Thought everyone might find this interesting, found it out today in a chemistry lecture.

The pH of pure water at room temperature is about 7

The pH of pure water at 100 degrees C, is about 6.13.

So this means that if you are using water from you hot water cylinder or heated water, chance's are that you are using water with a lower pH than 7, all of course depends on what else is dissolved into your water, BUT as this water cool's back down again it's pH will increase back to 7
